Undergraduate Study

A candidate admitted to a degree programme shall be required to follow the approved programme of study over the prescribed time. Any change of programme of study shall be approved by the School Dean after recommendation by the appropriate Head of Department.

The minimum and maximum period for completing of a Bachelor’s degree programme shall be four and twelve semesters respectively from the date of first registration.

 

Academic Sessions

The academic year shall be any two of the under-listed semesters, structured as follows:

Fall Semester: September – December.

Winter Semester: January – April.

Summer Semester: May – August.

 

Semester Structure

A semester shall be made of 16 weeks and shall be structured as follows:

• 13 weeks of teaching.
• 1 week revision.
• 2 weeks examination
